Poole Wheelers are well known for being a friendly and approachable cycling club. Never more true than in relation to supporting women who wish to take part in the sport.
We are lucky to have a number of women riders of varying abilities. One of our most successful riders is Lou Dutch who finished 8th in the National British Time Trial championship during 2007. Not limiting herself to racing against the clock she also competes in road racing both locally and last year, abroad.
If you are nervous about starting out in cycling come and speak to our women riders and find out what the realities are.

We are actively looking for more women riders come along and meet the members
This year Lou Dutch has been making her presence felt in Open and Club events beating a number of the men which always makes for interesting commentary back at the HQ.
Judith Martin has been a regular rider with excellent rides up to 30 miles in Time trial mode. She has also completed an Iron Man.
Catherine Shelley has been competing in Open events and making good progress.
