Best cycling moment Too many to mention, but…………..I can remember riding the national 100 km ttt in 1996 and trying to encourage a certain team mate to “get it on the big ring” and being told “I can’t” Don’t tell em your name Gary.
Worst cycling moment Road racing in the rain in New Zealand, climbing up a 1in5 hill, when the elastic in my shorts broke, then trying to sit down on the saddle with my shorts around my knees just to get to the top with a little bit of dignity, one hand on the shorts and the other on the bars. Thank goodness for bib shorts now!
