Poole Wheelers are one of the most successful local cycling clubs, we are located in Dorset on the south coast of England. We have fantastic countryside with a blend of hills and open areas which are perfect for cycling.

We pride ourselves with being one of the friendliest cycling clubs in the UK.

Poole Wheelers is a Go- Ride club .

Go ride

Go-Ride is British Cycling’s Club Development Programme aimed at improving both young riders and clubs. It focuses on volunteers and young members – improving coaching standards and increasing the number of young riders with access to coaching activities.

How to Join ?

Poole Wheelers are a British cycling "Go Ride" club and are committed to helping all riders young and old to get involved in Cyclesport.

We have riders who compete in Road Racing, Track cycling, Cyclocross, Time Trialling, Audax and Touring.

You could be our first BMX rider as we don't have any yet...

If you want to meet members first, use the Discussion page to find out where we will next be gathering and meet us in person. 

You can ride a Time Trial on a come and try it scheme during the summer months, Once you have tried it you will wonder what all the fuss was about. Check the events pages for a suitable event. Its probably best to try a 10 before your first attempt at a 12 hour event

Aims of the Club

Poole Wheelers Cycling club was established in 1926.

We are affiliated to the CTT, BC, BCCA, B&DWCA, EDCA and RRA.

Promote cycling, and cycle racing in all forms

Provide a friendly family club environment to enjoy our sport
